Studio B
Perfect for full band live recording, Studio B is the latest addition to the MIXART facility. Designed by Chicago-based acoustic engineer Doug Jones, this 4000 square foot space provides sight lines across three fully separated live rooms that horseshoe its master control. Each live room is purpose built to provide complimentary acoustics that vary from dead to slapping echo to lush and reverberant.
Another Westlake-inspired room, Studio B houses the NEVE 8058 with 48 SSL XL Logic I/Os and a selection of appropriate outboard gear.
After two years in the planning and construction, we are pleased to welcome MIXART faithful to the 'big' room.
